This technique is especially close to me as an artist. The cards are made from the bark of dead birch trees; not a single living tree was harmed. The bark undergoes a long process before becoming a work of art. Birch bark is a highly flammable material, but all cards have undergone protective treatment. An organic combination of natural texture and the artist’s intentions make each card unique.
